1880's Miniature A. Werner & Co. Champagne Case with 8 Bottles from Sonoma, CA

ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful early 1880's miniature S. The case holds eight miniature bottles of Extra Dry champagne from Sonoma, California. The case has all of the original packaging in it. Only one of the bottles doesn't have the original cork in it. The underside of the lid has a lovely picture on it, as can be seen in the attached image.

SIZE: Approximately: Box Size 8" x 5-1/4" x 3-3/4. MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, paper, glass, ink, iron. ATTACHMENT: Two hinges attached via nails.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Alcohol collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Most of the case is very well preserved.

The lid is warped due to time and the hinge on the front has been lost. It has all of the original packaging, however, and the bottles are in great condition. GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
